About Us and What We Offer

Hello from Laurie and Wayne. We're glad you stopped in to see us.

We like to entertain our friends in a warm relaxed environment. We have a place where folks can just kick back and unwind.

We are continually looking for fresh ideas and a reason to party.

We had a lot of fun recently with the "Woodstock Weekend" at the Tavern. We celebrated the 40th anniversary of the famous cult event.

The Tavern hosts a Monday night APA Eight-ball League and anyone is welcome to join. There are always openings on one or more of the eight-person teams.

Laurie learned to shoot pool from her dad and her and Wayne have played in the APA for over eight years.

She loves the Cowboys and he the Steelers. It makes for some interesting pillow talk at times.

We appreciate our Tavern family of Helen, Joyce, Val, Scott, Mike and Holly and hope you do too!

What We Offer

Warm beer, bad food and good friends. No not really. The good friends is right. We take pride in our cooking and keep the beer chilled.

Hey, we're the "home of the soon to be famous crab cake".

We like to watch live sports events on any of our 5 TV's. Weekly NASCAR races are a fan favorite here at the Woodsboro Tavern. You can even join in on our weekly NASCAR pool (if openings are available).

We will also be showing the college basketball tournaments starting in February and concluding with March Madness and the road to the Final Four.

One of the first signs of spring is the Masters Golf Tournament which begins in early April. Watch these and other major sports events at the Tavern.

And of course, Laurie will have every Dallas Cowboy game on and Wayne will make sure that the Pittsburgh Steelers are on as well. Not much love here for the Redskins or Ravens.

The Tavern is host to an in-house APA Pool League with an 8-ball league on Monday nights. Come join the fun and all matches are played in one location.

We also sponsor a Western Maryland Dart Association team that plays on Wednesdays in the Frederick area league. Learn more about the WMDA by clicking here.
